About Ruthin Rays
The club is run on a wholly voluntary basis and relies totally on time generously offered by our adult members.
Specific Training Programmes
Specific training programmes are provided for those developing towards higher levels of competition up to Area, North Wales and National Age Group Level. The club has developed well under the guidance of Head Coach Chris Clements.
This year has been very successful for many individual Clwb Nofio Rhuthun Swimming Club swimmers, not least in the recent Club Championships, which saw our swimmers achieve 138 personal best times from 158 swims.
Four of our swimmers – Alissa, Aaron, Craig and Oliver were invited to take part in the inaugural Gemau Cymru, a national multi sports competition,in Cardiff, in July.
Club swimmers have also entered a number of local competitions achieving creditable final places in many, including the North Wales Championships, the Cath Ankers and Junior Sprint Meets at Wrexham, and the Valentines, Summer Sprint, East Clwyd League & Geoff Drew Meets at Holywell.
